This week the CCSD team enjoyed their visit to Auburn University on Wednesday for the AU College of Education (Fall) Teacher Recruitment Fair. We were able to meet several new teacher candidates and interviewed more than a dozen AU students that will be graduating mid year.

The CCSD is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. It is observed annually from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15th. The 30-day period was set by President Reagan in 1988 & enacted into law. Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor the cultures, histories and contributions of Hispanics & Latino Americans to America.
